The Chinese ironclad Zhenyuan was a pre-dreadnought battleship built for the Beiyang Fleet of the Imperial Chinese Navy in the 1880s. The ship was the lead ship of her class and was built by the Fujian Shipbuilding Company in Mawei, China. Zhenyuan was armed with a main battery of four 12-inch guns and had a top speed of 15 knots. She was sunk by the Japanese Navy during the Battle of the Yalu River in 1894.
