The Biber submarine was a German midget submarine used during World War II. It was designed by Hellmuth Walter and constructed by the Germaniawerft shipyard in Kiel. The Biber was a single-man vessel, armed with two torpedoes. It was powered by a hydrogen peroxide engine, which gave it a range of 50 miles. The Biber was used in a number of operations during the war, including the attack on the Allied ships in the Bay of Biscay.
