The plate is from the 1586 Latin edition. The inscriptions are in Dutch, French, and Latin (Yle de bas (Île de Batz), Roscou (Roscoff), Brest, Heysandt (Ouessant), Bolada (Douarnenez) to Vanes (this is not Vannes, but Larmor at the mouth of the Blavet roadstead).
