Wolf–Rayet 134 is a hot, massive star in Cygnus that appears as a bright blue-white point surrounded by a faint glowing bubble of gas. In astrophotography, the nebula shows rippling arcs of red hydrogen and blue-green oxygen light, created as the star’s intense radiation and fierce stellar winds sweep up surrounding material. This bubble-like structure forms because WR 134 is shedding mass at incredible speeds, sculpting the interstellar medium into a luminous shell around it.
