The bright yellow star in the middle of the image is called Rho Cassiopeiae. It is classified as a very rare yellow hypergiant. Rho Cassiopeiae's diameter is 600-700x larger than the sun's. If you were to replace the sun with Rho Cassiopeiae, the earth would be swallowed up. It is so bright that even at over 8000 lightyears away, it is still visible to the naked eye. In the bottom right a star cluster, known as Caroline's Rose Cluster, is visible.
