This piece is part of a series of nature edits, photos I have taken on walks around my neighborhood, on the way to the cornerstore, or in the woods by my home. This beautifully-contrasting piece was framed right in my own backyard, where I found a spread of moss showing through the fallen oak leaves. Despite the cold and the lack of rain, the moss maintained such a vibrant, beautiful green. Quite the testament to the hardiness of mosses.
