The Carina Nebula is a huge nebulous cloud located in Sagittarius about 6500-10,000 light years from Earth.. It contains a huge mess of star clusters including the Trumpler 14 star cluster which contains the most amount of luminous stars within the Milky way. The hypergiant star Eta Carinae is the big bright star just south of centre, it's the largest star that can be studied in great detail, due to it's size and location.
