The Bugatti Chiron is a mid-engined, two-seater sports car developed and manufactured by Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. in Molsheim, Alsace, France. The Chiron was first shown at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2016. It is the successor to the Bugatti Veyron and is named after Louis Chiron, a successful racing driver who won the Monaco Grand Prix for Bugatti in 1928 and 1931. The Chiron is powered by an 8.0-liter W16 engine with four turbochargers, producing 1,500 PS (1,103 kW; 1,479 hp) and 1,600 N·m (1,180 lb–ft) of torque. It has a top speed of 261 mph (420 km/h) and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 97 km/h) in 2.4 seconds. The Chiron is one of the most expensive cars in the world, with a starting price of $3 million.
