The Messerschmitt Me 262 A-1a was a German fighter jet aircraft that was used during World War II. It was the first operational jet fighter in the world and was known for its speed and maneuverability. The Me 262 was designed by Willy Messerschmitt and was produced by Messerschmitt AG. It was powered by two Junkers Jumo 004B turbojet engines and had a maximum speed of 540 mph. The Me 262 was armed with four 30 mm MK 108 cannons and could carry a variety of bombs and rockets.
