The Airco DH.5 was a British biplane fighter aircraft of World War I. It was designed by Geoffrey de Havilland and built by the Aircraft Manufacturing Company. The DH.5 was a single-seat, pusher configuration aircraft with wooden construction and fabric covering. It was armed with two 7.7 mm Vickers machine guns and could reach a maximum speed of 108 mph. The DH.5 was used by the Royal Flying Corps and the Royal Naval Air Service during World War I. It was a successful aircraft and was credited with shooting down many enemy aircraft.
