Night Trap is a 1992 full-motion video game developed and published by Digital Pictures for the Sega CD. The game is a horror-themed interactive movie in which the player controls a group of special agents tasked with rescuing a group of young women from a group of vampires. The game was controversial for its graphic violence and nudity, and was banned in several countries. Despite the controversy, Night Trap has become a cult classic among gamers and is considered one of the earliest examples of the survival horror genre.
