Indian God Ganesha

He is typically depicted as a large, pot-bellied man with the head of an elephant. He has four arms and holds a variety of weapons and objects, including a lotus flower, an axe, and a noose. He is often accompanied by a rat, which is his vahana, or vehicle. Ganesha is the son of Shiva and Parvati, and he is the brother of Kartikeya. He is the god of wisdom, knowledge, and prosperity, and he is often invoked at the beginning of new ventures. He is also the patron of arts and sciences, and he is said to have written the Mahabharata.
