The MiG-23M 'Flogger-B' was a variable-geometry wing fighter aircraft developed by the Mikoyan-Gurevich Design Bureau in the Soviet Union. It was designed as an interceptor and ground-attack aircraft, and entered service in 1970. The MiG-23M was exported to several countries, and saw combat in a number of conflicts, including the Yom Kippur War and the Iran-Iraq War.
