Menhir breton
Menhir breton is a black and white photograph capturing a megalithic row of ancient standing stones in Carnac, Brittany, France. The stones are part of a larger prehistoric monument known as the Carnac Stones, which consists of thousands of menhirs (single standing stones) and dolmens (multiple standing stones supporting a large flat stone). The stones were erected during the Neolithic period, between 4,000 and 2,000 BCE, and are believed to have served as a ceremonial or religious site. The Carnac Stones are one of the most famous megalithic sites in the world and are a popular tourist destination.
