The Custom House is a majestic Georgian building located in Dublin, Ireland. It stands on the banks of the River Liffey and is one of the city's most iconic landmarks. The building was designed by James Gandon and was completed in 1791. It served as the headquarters of the Irish Customs Service until 1921 when it was handed over to the Irish Free State. Today, the Custom House is a popular tourist destination and houses a museum and art gallery.
