The Mercedes-Benz C111 is a concept car that was first unveiled in 1969. It was designed by Mercedes-Benz's chief designer at the time, Bruno Sacco. The C111 was a two-door coupe with a gullwing door design. It was powered by a 3.0-liter V8 engine that produced 280 horsepower. The C111 was capable of reaching a top speed of 180 mph. It was a very advanced car for its time and featured many innovative technologies, such as a four-wheel drive system and a hydropneumatic suspension. The C111 was never put into production, but it remains one of the most iconic concept cars of all time.
