The Mothman is a legendary creature reported in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, in the United States, from November 1966 to December 1967. The creature was described as a large, winged humanoid with red eyes and a wingspan of 10 to 12 feet. It was often seen flying at night and was associated with a series of unexplained events, including the collapse of the Silver Bridge in December 1967.
