The McLaren P1 is a British sports car produced by McLaren Automotive. It is a limited edition, two-door, two-seater, mid-engine, plug-in hybrid sports car designed by Frank Stephenson. The P1 was unveiled at the 2012 Paris Motor Show and production began in 2013. A total of 375 units were produced, including 350 coupes and 25 track-only GTR variants. The P1 is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine and an electric motor, producing a combined output of 903 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. The P1 has a top speed of 217 mph and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds.
