The Sleeping Arianna is a marble sculpture by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, completed in 1625. It depicts the sleeping figure of the mythological princess Arianna, who was abandoned by her lover Theseus on the island of Naxos. The sculpture is a masterpiece of Baroque sculpture, and is considered one of Bernini's most famous works. It is currently housed in the Vatican Museums.
