The Greek Statue Discus is an iconic work of art from Ancient Greece. Created by the sculptor Myron in the 5th century BC, the statue depicts a male athlete, poised to throw a discus. The statue is made of marble and stands at 1.95 meters tall. It is a realistic and idealized representation of the human form, and is considered one of the finest examples of Greek sculpture. The statue is currently housed in the British Museum in London.
