Anibal Troilo

Anibal Troilo was a renowned Argentine tango musician, bandoneon player, and composer. He was one of the most important figures in the history of tango music and is considered one of the founders of the modern tango style. Troilo was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1914. He began playing the bandoneon at an early age and quickly became a virtuoso. In the 1930s, he joined the orchestra of Juan D'Arienzo, one of the most popular tango orchestras of the time. In 1940, Troilo formed his own orchestra, which quickly became one of the most successful tango orchestras in the world. Troilo's music was characterized by its rich melodies and complex arrangements. He was also a gifted improviser and often improvised solos on his bandoneon. Troilo died in Buenos Aires in 1975.
