Borobudur is a 9th-century Mahayana Buddhist temple located in Central Java, Indonesia. It is the world's largest Buddhist temple, consisting of nine stacked platforms topped by a central stupa. The temple is decorated with 2,672 relief panels and 505 Buddha statues. Borobudur was built by the Sailendra dynasty and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
