The Nazca Lines are a series of ancient geoglyphs located in the Nazca Desert in southern Peru. They were created by the Nazca people between 500 and 1000 AD. The lines are made by removing the top layer of soil to expose the lighter-colored soil beneath. They depict various animals, plants, and geometric shapes. The dog is one of the most iconic of the Nazca Lines. It is located near the town of Nazca and is approximately 275 feet long.
