The Convair F-102 Delta Dagger is a supersonic fighter aircraft that was developed for the United States Air Force in the 1950s. The F-102 was designed by Convair and was the first fighter aircraft to be equipped with a delta wing. The aircraft was also known for its advanced avionics and its ability to fly at speeds of up to Mach 2. The F-102 was used by the USAF in a variety of roles, including air superiority, interception, and ground attack. The aircraft was also used by NASA for research purposes. The F-102 was retired from service in the 1970s.
