The M60A2 Starship was a second-generation main battle tank developed by the United States in the 1960s. It was intended to replace the M60 Patton tank and provide improved firepower, mobility, and protection. The M60A2 Starship was armed with a 105mm main gun and had a crew of four. It was powered by a 750 horsepower diesel engine and could reach a top speed of 45 miles per hour. The M60A2 Starship was deployed to Europe and saw combat in the Vietnam War. It was later replaced by the M1 Abrams tank.
