The Vertical Forest (Bosco Verticale in Italian) is a pair of residential towers in the Porta Nuova district of Milan, Italy. The towers, known as Torre E and Torre D, were designed by Stefano Boeri Architetti and completed in 2014. The project is notable for its innovative use of green architecture and sustainable design. The towers are covered in plants and trees, which help to improve air quality and reduce energy consumption. The Vertical Forest has become a popular tourist destination and has won numerous awards for its innovative design.
