The Hawker P.1121 was a British single-engine, single-seat fighter aircraft designed by Hawker Aircraft in the late 1950s. It was intended to be a supersonic interceptor, capable of Mach 2.5 and armed with air-to-air missiles. The P.1121 was a radical departure from previous Hawker designs, featuring a sleek, low-wing layout with a large, single vertical stabilizer. The aircraft was also equipped with a powerful Rolls-Royce RB.168 engine, which gave it an impressive rate of climb and acceleration. Despite its promising design, the P.1121 was never built, as the British government canceled the project in 1959.
