The Boeing B-50 Superfortress is a long-range heavy bomber aircraft developed from the B-29 Superfortress by Boeing. It was used by the United States Air Force (USAF) during the Korean War. The B-50 was designed as a replacement for the B-29, and it incorporated several improvements, including more powerful engines, a larger wingspan, and a more streamlined fuselage. The B-50 was also the first bomber to be equipped with a jet engine, which gave it a significant speed advantage over its predecessors.
