The Cassini Diagram is a detailed illustration of the Cassini spacecraft, a joint mission between NASA, the European Space Agency, and the Italian Space Agency. Launched in 1997, Cassini entered orbit around Saturn in 2004 and spent 13 years exploring the planet, its moons, and its rings. The spacecraft was equipped with a variety of instruments to study Saturn's atmosphere, composition, and magnetic field. Cassini also carried the Huygens probe, which landed on Saturn's moon Titan in 2005. The Cassini-Huygens mission was a major success, and it made many important discoveries about Saturn and its moons.
