Karnak is an artwork that depicts the ancient Egyptian temple complex of Karnak, located on the east bank of the Nile River in Thebes (modern Luxor). It is one of the most important and largest religious sites in ancient Egypt and was dedicated to the god Amun. The temple complex was built over a period of more than 2,000 years, from the 12th to the 20th dynasty, and covers an area of over 120 hectares. The temple is known for its impressive architecture, including the Great Hypostyle Hall, which contains 16,400 columns.
