The painting depicts a nude woman from the back, her head turned to the side, and her red cap contrasting with the green of the sea. The waves are depicted in a swirling, abstract manner, conveying a sense of movement and energy. The painting is currently housed in the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow.
