The Chaparral 2D is a Can-Am race car designed by Jim Hall and Hap Sharp, and built by Chaparral Cars. It was powered by a Chevrolet V8 engine and had a fiberglass body. The car was a two-seater, with an open top and a rear-wheel drive. It had a 5-speed manual transmission and a 4-wheel disc brake system. The Chaparral 2D was one of the most successful Can-Am cars of the 1960s, winning numerous races and championships.
