The Mazda 717C was a Group C prototype race car built by Mazda for the 1991 World Sportscar Championship season. It was powered by a 3.0-liter V12 engine and was driven by a team of drivers that included Johnny Herbert, Volker Weidler, and Bertrand Gachot. The 717C achieved two podium finishes in its debut season, at Monza and Silverstone.
