The Saturn C-4B was a two-stage rocket used by NASA during the Apollo program. It was designed to launch the Apollo CSM and LM into Earth orbit. The Saturn C-4B was the first stage of the Saturn V rocket, which was the most powerful rocket ever built. The Saturn C-4B was powered by five F-1 engines, which produced a total of 7.5 million pounds of thrust. The Saturn C-4B was 224 feet tall and had a diameter of 12 feet. It weighed 2.3 million pounds at liftoff. The Saturn C-4B was launched from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. It made its first flight on November 9, 1967, and its last flight on July 16, 1973.
