The Jaguar C-Type is a legendary British sports car that was produced from 1951 to 1953. It was designed by Jaguar's chief engineer, William Heynes, and was based on the XK120 sports car. The C-Type was a successful racing car, winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1951 and 1953. It was also the first car to break the 100 mph barrier at the Indianapolis 500.
