The Cunningham C4R was a purpose-built sports racing car, designed and built by Briggs Cunningham for the 1953 24 Hours of Le Mans. It was powered by a 3.0 L (183 cu in) Offenhauser inline-four engine, and featured a lightweight aluminum body. The C4R was one of the first American cars to compete at Le Mans, and it finished 10th overall.
