The Audi R10 TDI is a Le Mans Prototype race car designed and built by Audi Sport for the 2006 24 Hours of Le Mans. The R10 TDI was the first diesel-powered car to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and it went on to win the race again in 2007 and 2008. The R10 TDI was powered by a 5.5-liter V12 TDI engine that produced 650 horsepower and 1,000 Newton-meters of torque. The car had a top speed of 220 mph and could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds. The R10 TDI was a highly successful race car, and it helped Audi to win the American Le Mans Series championship in 2006 and 2007.
