Lewis 100
The Lewis 100 is a blueprint of the Lewis gun, a machine gun used in World War I. The gun was designed by Colonel Isaac Newton Lewis and was manufactured by the Lewis Gun Company. The Lewis gun was a gas-operated, air-cooled, magazine-fed machine gun that fired .303 British cartridges. It had a maximum rate of fire of 500 rounds per minute and an effective range of 1,000 yards. The Lewis gun was used by the British, American, and French armies during World War I. It was also used by the Irish Republican Army during the Irish War of Independence.
