The Dash 8 Q400 is a twin-engine, high-wing, unpressurized turboprop aircraft designed for short-haul regional transport. It was developed by De Havilland Canada and first flew in 1983. The Q400 is the fourth and final variant of the Dash 8 family and is the largest and most powerful of the Dash 8s. It is powered by two PW150A turboprop engines and has a maximum cruise speed of 360 mph. The Q400 has a capacity for up to 78 passengers and can be configured for either passenger or cargo transport. It is a popular choice for regional airlines and cargo operators around the world.
