The Marder III was a German tank destroyer of World War II based on the hull of the Czech PzKpfw 38(t) light tank. The Marder III was armed with a 7.5 cm PaK 40 anti-tank gun and had a crew of four. It was produced from 1942 to 1944, with a total of 942 vehicles built.
