The KH-10 MOL (Manned Orbital Laboratory) was a proposed United States Air Force space station, intended to be the first permanently manned satellite in low Earth orbit. The program was initiated in 1963 and was intended to provide a platform for conducting experiments in space, as well as to serve as a potential military outpost. The MOL was designed to be launched into orbit by a Titan IIIC rocket, and would have been capable of supporting a crew of two astronauts for up to 30 days. The program was cancelled in 1969 due to budgetary constraints and concerns about the safety of the astronauts.
