Agave attenuata, commonly known as the lion's tail or swan's neck, is a species of flowering plant in the family Asparagaceae. This succulent plant is native to Mexico and can grow up to 6 feet tall. It has a rosette of spiky, green leaves that grow in a spiral pattern. The leaves have a serrated edge and are a deep green color. The flowers are a pale yellow-green color and grow on a tall stalk. The plant blooms in the summer and is pollinated by bats and moths.
