Unknown Pleasures is the debut studio album by English post-punk band Joy Division, released on 15 June 1979 through Factory Records. The album was produced by Martin Hannett and engineered by Mike Howlett. The cover artwork was designed by Peter Saville and features a graphic representation of the radio pulsar CP 1919.
