How do I change my password?
Easy-peasy 😊 Please go to the section 'Account Settings' in the top right corner of the page and click on 'Change password' to update it.
I forgot my password. How can I log in?
We hate it when it happens, too 😉 Simply go to the login page here and click "Forgot my password." We'll send you an email with instructions to reset it. Don’t forget to check your spam folder just in case.
Can I change my login e-mail address?
Unfortunately, it's not possible to change the email address associated with an account.
How can I sell artworks if I have a customer account?
To create an artist account, go to "My Profile" and click "Open your Displate Shop." From there, reset your password to log in as an artist.
How do I delete a customer account?
To delete your customer account, go to "Account Settings" in the top right corner of the page. At the bottom, click "Deactivate Account." Note that all your account content will be permanently deleted, and this action is irreversible.

Does a frame change the size of a Displate?
Frames don't change the overall size of the Displates themselves, but they do slightly reduce the visible design area, as the frames are printed directly on the artworks. As for the size, the frame width is 3 cm for an M Displate and 3.8 cm for an L Displate.
How do I clean my Displate?
To clean your Displate, use a damp cloth with a small amount of dishwashing soap. Gently wipe the surface to keep it looking its best.
What kind of metal are your Displates made of?
Our Displates are made of stainless steel, known for its corrosion and heat resistance, and durability.
Do Displates have a warranty?
Yes, we offer a 2-year warranty from the date of product delivery. For detailed conditions, please refer to clause 3.28 of our Terms of Use. Additionally, we provide a 100-day satisfaction guarantee.

Is the mounting system included in the price?
Yes, your order will include both the magnet(s) and a protective leaf for each magnet, depending on the size of your Displate. This is all provided at no extra cost to ensure you can easily display your new Displate on your wall! 😉
What kind of surface do you recommend for mounting your Displates?
Our mounting kit is designed for clean, dry, degreased, smooth, and even surfaces. The effectiveness of the mounting system depends on the surface quality, so avoid textured or uneven surfaces like the ones listed below:




How do I remove the magnet from my wall?
To remove the magnet, simply grasp a corner of the protective leaf and gently pull it away from the wall. It's that easy! 😊
Will removing a mounting system damage my wall?
The protective leaf in our mounting kit has been designed to minimize wall damage when removing the magnet. However, the final outcome may depend on the wall's condition and type.
Can you suggest an alternative method for mounting?
We recommend using our Safe Wall Magnet Mounting System, included with every order at no extra cost, for a secure and damage-free installation. However, if your wall isn't completely smooth and if you're able to drill into the surface, you may also create a hole in the magnet and secure it with a screw for added stability.
Can I mount my Displate on a brick surface?
We don't recommend mounting a Displate on rough or uneven surfaces like brick. However, if drilling is possible, you can create a hole in the magnet and secure it to the wall with a screw.
Can I mount my Displate on a slanted wall?
We do not recommend mounting a Displate on a slanted wall, as the angle may cause the metal plate to detach from the magnet, posing a risk of falling. We advise using a flat, vertical surface for safe and secure installation.
Can I mount my Displate in a bathroom?
While our Displates are galvanized to prevent rusting, we don't recommend placing them in very humid environments like bathrooms, as this could weaken the magnet's strength.
Can I mount my Displate outside?
While Displates are designed for indoor use, they can be placed outside as they are resistant to atmospheric conditions and won't corrode. However, avoid direct sunlight and water exposure, as these can weaken the glue in our Safe Wall Magnet Mounting System. With these precautions, your Displate can be a durable addition to your outdoor space! 😊
Is it possible to mount my Displate on the wallpaper?
We do not recommend mounting Displates on wallpaper. Our mounting kit is designed for clean, dry, degreased, smooth, and even surfaces. The type and quality of the surface greatly affect the effectiveness of our mounting system, so it's important to avoid textured, uneven, or wallpapered surfaces.

The 3D Magnet is an alternative mounting system that adds depth, giving your Displate a striking 3D effect. It is compatible only with M and L Displates.

How can I pay for an order?
We offer various payment methods depending on your country, including credit cards (American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover), PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, AliPay, Sofort, EPS, online bank transfers, and Trustly. Payments can be made in USD, EUR, GBP, DKK, SEK, CHF, NOK, and SGD. If your local currency differs, you can check the charged currency by adding a Displate to your cart. Yes, you can! To create your custom metal print, go to the Custom Displate tab in the main menu. Ensure you're logged in to your account or create one, as this feature is available only to registered users. Upload your image, crop and preview it in our user-friendly editor, then select your preferred size, finish, and optional frame. If you’re a Displate Club member, you’ll automatically receive a special discounted price at checkout. 😊
Can you customise an artist's design which is already published on your website?
Unfortunately, we cannot make alterations to designs on our website, as they belong to our artists and are their intellectual property. Each design is a unique artwork of a specific artist.
Can I request a new Displate design?
We'd be happy to contact an artist on your behalf if you have a suggestion for a new Displate in their collection. However, we cannot guarantee that the requested artwork will be uploaded, as artists choose the content they wish to share. If you'd like to make a request, please contact us here with the artist's name and the desired Displate.
Can I request a specific or larger size of a Displate?
Unfortunately, we cannot print custom sizes due to production limitations. Sorry 😞 We can only offer Displates in the sizes listed below.
Medium size is 45 cm / 32 cm (17,72" / 12,6"),
Large size is 67.5 cm / 48 cm (26,60" / 18,90"),
X Large size is 90 cm / 64 cm (35,44"/ 25,20").
Can I get an XL Displate in one piece?
Unfortunately, we cannot produce an XL Displate in one piece due to technical restrictions. Sorry 😞
What kind of frames do you offer?
Our frames are 3D-printed on metal using specialized, patent-pending technology. We offer four styles: graphite, black, white, and natural wood patterns. You can explore them here.
Can I choose a frame or gloss finish for my XL Displate?
XL Displates are available exclusively in a matte finish and do not offer the option to add frames. This is because the XL Displate features a unique four-piece design, and there are technical limitations with the printing process.
Can I order only a frame for my current Displate?
Frames are printed directly onto the Displate, making them a single piece. Therefore, frames cannot be ordered separately.
What's the difference between matte and gloss finish?
Both finishes will make your artwork stand out, but they each have unique characteristics. The gloss finish is ideal for photographs, as it enhances black shades and boosts colors, creating high-contrast images that are vibrant and striking. On the other hand, the matte finish emphasizes texture and offers a film-like effect. It is resistant to fingerprints, making it suitable for high-traffic areas or places with children. Additionally, it reduces reflections and glare, even in direct sunlight.

Can I buy digital art files?
Unfortunately, not. Each design is the intellectual property of the artist, and we respect their ownership by offering artworks exclusively in physical formats.
Do you offer gift wrapping service?
There's no need for additional gift wrapping! Our Displates arrive in gift-ready packaging, making them perfect for any occasion. Check it out 😊

Can I cancel my order?
Yes, you can cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, as Displates are printed after this period. If you would like to cancel your order, you can use our helpful bot here to process the cancellation. Simply have your order number, the email address used for the order, and the total order value ready.
When will I receive my refund after cancelling my order?
Your refund should be processed within 14 days of cancellation. However, we do our best to do it as soon as possible.
Can I exchange any of your products?
Unfortunately, we do not offer exchanges for purchased products. You can return the item for a refund and then place a new order. Please review our return policy for more details.
Will there be any customs fee applied to my order?

Can I request not to include an Invoice with my order?
No need to worry - our Displates are shipped without invoices, ensuring they make a fabulous surprise for the recipient.
How can I purchase storage sleeves?

How do I join Displate Club and how does it work?
It's super easy to join our Displate Club! Just follow the steps below:
1. Go to Displate Club Page.
2. If you’re not logged in, log in or create an account.
3. Pick your offer and add it to the cart.
4. Make the payment to be welcomed to the Club.
You can also just join by ticking the 'Join Displate Club for free shipping on your next orders & additional benefits' checkbox in the cart. But here you’ll see only the cheapest option to join.
From now on, you'll be all set as a Displate Club member and Displate collector.

Unfortunately, due to restrictions from our shipping partners, we may not be able to deliver to these addresses. We recommend using a regular address when placing an order. Do you deliver to service points?
Yes, we do, but this option is currently available only for UPS deliveries and orders under 20 kilos. To check availability, add your chosen Displate to the cart and proceed to checkout.
Can I request my order to be delivered without a signature?
There's a possibility of delivering your package without a signature, depending on the courier. FedEx will deliver without a signature if you're unavailable. For DHL and UPS, please arrange delivery directly on their websites. For DHL, check out the link here. For UPS via here. Note that changes may take up to 12 hours to appear online after shipping.
How can I change my shipping address?
If you have your tracking number, you can change your shipping address directly on the courier's website. Use the following links for DHL, UPS, and FedEx. For DHL Poland, click here, and for DHL Germany, click here. Changes may take up to 12 hours to appear online after shipping.
Alternatively, you can use our chatbot for assistance. Have your order number, the email used for the order, and the total order value (found in your confirmation email) ready, and click here.
Can I choose different countries for my shipping and billing addresses?
Unfortunately, it's not possible to select different countries for your shipping and billing addresses. We recommend keeping the "billing address same as shipping" option selected at checkout to streamline your order process.
Where do you ship from?
We ship our Displates from Poland, the homeland of the delicious pierogi - a national snack, yummy 😋😊
Do you offer an expedited shipping option for an additional fee?
Unfortunately, we don't offer expedited delivery at this time. However, we work diligently to ensure all packages are shipped promptly, and remember: Displates are worth the wait 😊
Can I choose a shipping company for my order?
Unfortunately, you can't select the shipping company when ordering. We ship via DHL, UPS, or FedEx, depending on the destination. You will find out about the choice of the shipping company in your confirmation email. Whatever the company, all our partners strive to deliver your Displates smoothly.
Returns
What is your return policy?
If you change your mind, you may return a Displate within 100 calendar days of delivery, and you will receive a 100% refund, including the value of the product with shipping and handling fees. The product is eligible for return if it is in the original state and the mounting system has not been used. The Product needs to be sent at the customer's cost.
In case of a partial return, the original shipping cost and handling fees are not refundable. Also, the custom prints and Displates obtained with a Displate Club voucher are non-refundable. As for a Safe Wall Magnet Mounting System, a 3D Magnet, or a Displate Stand, you can return it as per our policy above; however, partial returns of a Safe Wall Magnet Mounting System are not possible.
As for Lumino, to be eligible for a refund, the whole product, including the power bank, 2 x USB-C cables, and the mounting system, needs to be returned in the original package, or alternatively, a package which is labelled with a UN3481 Lithium Battery Label. You may find it here. The label must be printed in color with a minimum dimension of 10 cm wide × 10 cm high (3.94 "/3.94").
Please write down your full shipping details on the package as per your order. Also, please print the withdrawal form, which you may find here, and enclose it in the package. This will help us to identify your order and speed up the refund process.

I have returned my order. When will I receive a refund?
Once we receive your returned package, we'll reach out to you to confirm the cancellation of your order. If you returned the entire order, you'll receive a full refund, including shipping costs and handling fees. How can I be part of the Community Choice?
To join the Community Choice, start by entering our Discord community and requesting an artist tag from a Displate Admin. This tag will grant you access to the #cf-requests channel. In that channel, submit a link to your Displate page for review. The Community Advisory Board and Displate will then review your request to decide whether you'll be included in the Community Choice.
Please note that Displate's review is solely to ensure compliance with our general rules and principles, not to influence the selection.
What are the community standards and rules for the Community Choice?
The community has set the following standards for artworks and behaviour:
- Artworks are not produced using generative AI or any other AI software.
- Artworks must not contain any content that violates Displate’s general art policies and rules (e.g. NSFW, offensive, racist, hate speech, inciting violence or otherwise inappropriate) .
- Artists should only promote their artworks in the dedicated **#artist-promo** channel, and nowhere else in the Discord.
- Artists must be respectful when interacting with the community, though participation in discussions is not required to be included in the Community Choice.
Do the artworks published on Displate undergo any selection?
Displate reserves the right not to publish or to reject any artwork that is not in line with our Terms of Use points 3.2 and 3.3.
How do I upload PNG files?
When uploading PNG files, the processing may affect color display on our site. To ensure your artwork appears as intended, use the 'Download' button during the 'Adjust your artwork' step. This lets you verify that the color scheme is accurate before finalizing the upload.
What technical requirements have to be fulfilled by the artwork to pass verification?
- Artwork must be of high print quality
- Accepted formats are JPG, PNG, WEBP, and AVIF, with a size up to 30MB and a minimum 300 DPI
- The shortest side should be at least 2900px with a 1.4:1 ratio for the best fit (ex.,4060px x 2900px)
- Artwork should have no logos, watermarks, or borders
- Text/content should be at least 200px from the edge in a 4060px x 2900px file
- The whole content of the design must be included in one uploaded file
- Multiple uploads of the same image with only slight variations are not allowed
- Tags must directly relate to the artwork's subject.

What is your copyrights policy?
Our copyright policy is based on one rule: whenever an artist uploads artwork, they will continue to have ownership of the piece for as long as the artwork stays on our site. To upload artwork, go to "My Artist Profile" and click on "Upload Artwork," or select "Upload your artwork" from the dropdown menu in the top right corner of our website. How to check the status of my upload?
To check the status of your upload, please go to the top right corner of our website and find the "Upload history" from the dropdown menu.
Can I upload a square image?
Yes, you can upload a square image, but it will need to be cropped to a 1.4:1 ratio during the upload process to fit our product dimensions.
Why isn't my Displate available in XL?
We're sorry that your Displate isn't available in XL. The availability depends on the file quality and orientation. Only artworks in a vertical or portrait format can be printed in XL size. The largest size for horizontal or landscape artworks is L. For more details, please review our technical requirements here.
Why are my artworks still awaiting approval?
Your artwork may still be awaiting approval due to the volume of uploads from other artists, which affects its position in the queue. During this time, feel free to upload more artworks. You can track the status in the "Upload history" section.
Please note that Displate reserves the right to reject or not publish any artwork that does not comply with our Terms of Use, point 3.3.
Why are my artworks not approved?
Here are common reasons your artwork might not be approved:
- Insufficient quality for printing.
- Pixel dimensions increased to meet the minimum (2900px on the short side).
- The number of DPI is less than 300.
- Presence of logos, watermarks, or borders.
- Text or content near the edge is less than 200px from the border for files with a minimum size of 4060px x 2900px.
- Multiple uploads of the same image with minimal changes in color or detail.
- Design content is not included in a single uploaded file.
- Non-compliance with guidelines in our Terms of Use, point 3.2.
Why have my artworks been deactivated?
If your artworks have been deactivated, you can find the reason in the "Upload History" section of your account. Please note that Displate reserves the right to reject any artwork not in compliance with our Terms of Use point 3.3.
Why aren't my collections visible on my profile?
Collections with fewer than four Displates are only visible to logged-in users. If your collection contains more than four Displates and is still not visible, please contact us here using the email associated with your account so we can assist you.
Why can't I find my published artworks when searching?
After validation, it may take up to 24 hours for your artworks to become searchable on our website. Additionally, we display artwork in an order that considers user interests and other factors, which may include automated decision-making. You may read more about that in our Terms of Use, point 3.3.
How do I delete an artwork?
To delete an artwork, go to "My Profile" and select "Displates." Hover over the desired design, click "Edit," and then select "Remove artwork." It's as simple as that! 😊
How can I delete a not approved image from my profile?
You cannot delete images marked as "not approved" because they are not published on our website. These images are only visible to you in your "Upload History" section.
How can I change the details of my artwork?
To edit your artwork, go to your profile and click on "Show" and then "Displates." Hover over the desired Displate and select the "Edit" button.
How can I edit my collection?
To edit your collection, go to your profile and select "Show" followed by "Collections." Hover over the collection you want to update and click the "Edit" button.
Can you delete an image that's not yet approved so I can upload the correct file?
Unfortunately, it's not possible to delete an artwork while it's in the validation process. You will need to wait for the validation to be finalized. If your artwork is approved, you can delete it by navigating to "My Profile," selecting "Displates," and hovering over the design. Then click "Edit" and "Remove artwork."
Can artists set the price of their works themselves?
Artists cannot set the prices for their works, as prices are fixed for each size of Displate.
Is there a way to see the number of views on my artworks/profile?
Currently, there isn't a feature to view the number of views on your artworks or profile.
How can I get my artworks featured on the Displate main page?
Artworks are automatically featured on the Displate main page based on the number of visits to your profile and the duration of each visit.
What are the size requirements for a profile and background photo?
The minimum size for a profile picture is 214 x 214 pixels, and for a background photo, it is 2558 x 500 pixels.
What is an artist's commission for selling an artwork from a regular collection?
The artist's commission for selling artwork from a regular collection is as follows:
$4.50 USD for M size
$9.00 USD for L size
$14.50 USD for XL size
These amounts are subject to taxes, fees, and any discounts applied. Please ensure PayPal is available in your country, as all payouts are made through PayPal. Check the list of supported countries here.
How can I see my sales and earnings?
To view your sales and earnings, go to the top right corner of the page and select the "Earnings" section. You can find detailed information in "My Commission" and "Sales Statistics."
When is the commission published on my account?
The commission is published 24 hours after a product is sold. After 10 days, the commission for that product is added to the total amount in your account. Once your accumulated commissions reach a minimum of $50, the "Request Payment" button will become active, allowing you to initiate a payment request.
Is there a minimum pay-out threshold?
Yes, payments are processed once you have accumulated a minimum of $50 in your account and have requested the payment.
How do I request a payout?
To request a payout, go to the top right corner of the page and click on 'My Earnings.' Then, click the 'Request Payment' button and provide your PayPal email address and Displate password.
When do I get paid?
Payments are made within 45 days from the date you request the payout.
Why did a sale disappear from my dashboard?
If a customer cancels their order, the associated commission is also canceled, according to our policy.
Can I apply my commission as Displate credit?
Unfortunately, you cannot apply your commission as credit to your Displate account.
Why can't I request my commission if I filled in my tax data on my account?
Approval of your tax data can take up to 72 hours. Once accepted, you will be able to request your payout, provided you have met the $50 minimum threshold.
How do I delete an artist account?
To delete your artist account, go to 'Account Settings' in the top right corner of the page. Scroll to the bottom and click the 'Deactivate Account' button. Please note that all data, artworks, and outstanding commissions will be permanently deleted. If you have any outstanding commissions, request your payout and wait for the funds to be transferred before closing your account.

Do I have to be registered on Displate to buy my own artworks?
Yes, if you're an artist looking to purchase your own artworks with a special artist's discount, you need to sign up on Displate first.
Is there a discount for artists to buy their own artworks?

Will I get a commission if I order my own designs?
No, you do not receive a commission for purchasing your own artworks.
