How do I create my account on Displate?

To create an account please go here and click the ‘Create an account’ button. Fill in the required information, your user name, email address, first and last name and next create your password. Finally, please select the ‘Create an account’ button located below the registration form.

Is my personal information safe?

Yes. Displate respects your privacy, therefore, we will never distribute any of your personal information that is submitted on our site. Please read more about Privacy Policy here.

How do I change my password?

Please go to the section ‘My profile’ in the top right corner of the page and ‘Account settings’ where you may change your password.

I forgot my password. How can I log in?

Please go to your login page and click on ‘Forgot password?”. We will send you a retrieval e-mail with the instruction to follow. Your login page is located here.

Can I change my login e-mail address?

Yes. Please go to the section ‘My profile’ in the top right corner of the page and ‘Account settings’ where you may change your e-mail address.

How do I delete my account?

To delete your account please go to the section ‘My profile’ in the top right corner of the page and ‘Account setting’. At the bottom you will find ‘Deactivate account’ button. Please note that all the content of your account will be deleted.

Order

How can I pay for an order?

You can pay with your credit card or via PayPal. Payments are made in USD, EUR, GBP, DKK, SEK, CHF. If you choose a different currency than mentioned above, the final charge is made in USD at the exchange rate of your bank.

Will I receive my confirmation e-mail?

Yes. As soon as you place an order we send the confirmation e-mail. If you don’t receive it, please check your spam folder to make sure it didn’t get lost there.

How to use a discount code?

Please enter a discount code to the discount code box located just below the order details in the cart. Please make sure you enter a discount code before checking out.

How can I add two discount codes?

We are afraid that it is not possible to apply multiple discount codes to one order.

I forgot to apply a discount. Can you refund me a difference?

Unfortunately, we are not able to apply a discount to the order already paid. The only solution is to cancel the order and place a new one with a discount available on the website. However, please note that according to our cancellation policy the order can be cancelled only within 24 hours of placing it.

Can I get a discount for a bulk purchase?

If you plan to purchase at least 100 Displates at once, please contact us at [email protected]. We will be able to offer you a tailor-made offer based on your needs.

Can I change or add another item to my order?

Unfortunately, we are not able to amend the order already paid. The only solution is to cancel the order and place a new one. However, please note that according to our cancellation policy the order can be cancelled only within 24 hours of placing it.

How can I change my shipping address?

Please contact us here with your request and we will amend the shipping address on our end. In case if your order is already sent, we will contact the shipping company on your behalf to ask for a change.

Is the invoice included in the package?

We include invoices only when we ship outside EU.

Can I order a Displate with my own image?

Yes, however this option is only available in Displate Membership Club.

Can I request a new Displate?

We would be happy to contact an artist on your behalf if you have a suggestion for a new Displate in one of the artist’s collections. However, unfortunately we cannot give you any guarantee that the requested artwork will be uploaded, as our artists are free to upload only artworks of their choice and we don't have any influence on their content or in the theme they want to follow. If you’d like to send us a request, please contact us at here and let us know the name of the artist as well as the desired Displate.

Can you customise an artist’s design which is already published on your website?

The designs on our website belong to our artists and we are not able to make any amendments. Every design is an artwork of a specific artist and therefore their intellectual property.

Can I request a specific or larger size of a Displate?

We are afraid that we are not able to print in custom sizes. Due to the limitations in the production process, we can only print Displates in the sizes below:

Medium size is 45 cm / 32 cm (17,72" / 12,6"),
Large size is 67.5 cm / 48 cm (26,60" / 18,90"),
X Large size is 90 cm / 64 cm (35,44”/ 25,20”).

Can I get XL size in one piece?

We are afraid that our production is not currently capable of printing XL Displates in one-piece. However, we will consider this in the future.

Can I buy digital art files?

The artworks found on Displate cannot be sold in a digital format. Each design on Displate is owned by artists who created them and it’s their intellectual property.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Unfortunately, we do not offer gift vouchers.

Do you offer gift wrapping service?

We do not offer gift wrapping service as our metal posters are delivered in a gift-ready packaging as per below: Gift-ready packing

Can I cancel my order?

Yes. It is possible but not later than 24h after placing an order. This is due to the fact that after that time the products are printed.

I have cancelled my order. When I receive a refund?

Your refund should be finalized within 14 days of cancellation but we will do our best to do it asap.

Will there be any customs fee applied to my order?

Depending on the destination, there is a possibility of an additional duty fee. Its amount depends on specific countries regulations. Any costs related to customs duties shall be paid by the buyer.

Why is my payment not successful?

The most common reason for this is due to the fact that some bank providers, especially in US, CA, or AU impose a restriction on foreign payments. We suggest contacting your bank for more details.

Is payment on your website secure?

We confirm that payment on our website is secure and encrypted. You can read more about our SSL certificate by clicking the LOCK icon to the left of our URL Displate.com

Why did a Displate disappear from my wishlist?

Unfortunately, this means that the Displate you wish to buy is no longer available. Our artists are free to upload, update and remove artworks from our website at any time and we respect their decisions. Some artists prefer to put up collections only for the limited time or remove them for other reasons and we are afraid that we don't have any influence on it.

Safe Wall Magnet System

Is the mounting system included in the price?

Yes, it is. Our mounting system includes a magnet or magnets, depending on the size of your Displate.

Is it possible to stick a Displate on a wallpaper?

We generally recommend mounting a Displate on even surfaces only. A lot of our customers stick it to their wallpapers, however, we are unable to assess whether it holds on your particular wallpaper.

How to remove a magnet from the wall?

To remove a magnet from the wall you need to grab a corner of the protective leaf and pull slowly.

Can you recommend a different method of mounting?

In general, we do not recommend any other methods of mounting a Displate on the wall than using a magnet. However, we can suggest making a hole in the magnet and mounting it to the wall by using a nail.

Can I mount my Displate on the brick surface?

In general, we don’t recommend to mount a Displate on rough or uneven surfaces. In this situation, we can suggest using a few pieces of adhesive gum to stick the Displate to the wall. Alternatively, you can make a hole in the magnet and mount it to the wall by using a nail.

Can I mount my Displate on a slanted wall?

Unfortunately, in case of a slanted wall, gravity can overpower the magnet causing your Displate to fall. Therefore, we only advise mounting our Displates on a straight surface.

Can I mount my Displate in a bathroom?

Our Displates are galvanized which prevents them from rusting. However, in general we don’t recommend mounting a Displate in an exceptionally hot or steamy room as the adhesive used in our mounting system may lose its strength.

How can I check the status of my order?

Please check it in the section 'Contact us' and 'Go here' by entering the first 6 digits of your order number.

What can I do if my parcel lacks its content, the received product has some defects or is damaged?

. Please remember to always check the content of a parcel in the presence of a courier. If after opening the package you find out that it lacks its content or the product has some defects, please send us some photos of all received Displates as well as the box here so that we can help.

What is the estimated time of delivery?

Expected delivery time is up to 3-5 business days, depending on the shipping destination. The shipping time includes manufacturing process, shipping and handling.

What are the shipping costs?

The shipping costs depend on the total weight of the package, the country of shipment and fuel fee. In order to check precise shipping costs, the chosen product must be added to the cart.

What shipping companies do you use?

All parcels are securely packed and sent by DHL or UPS couriers. We use UPS to ship our packages to European countries and DHL outside Europe.

Do you deliver to PO BOX, APO, FPO, DPO addresses?

Unfortunately, due to the shipping companies' restrictions on delivery to the above addresses, we might not able to send your order. We suggest using a regular address when placing an order. However, if you have already placed one please contact us here so that we can check if the shipping company is able to deliver your package.

Can I request my order to be delivered without a signature?

Should you wish your order to be delivered without a required signature please contact us here with your request and we will pass it to the shipping company.

How can I change my shipping address?

Please contact us with your request and we will amend the shipping address on our end. In case if your order is already sent, we will contact the shipping company on your behalf to ask for a change.

How can I complete this purchase with a different shipping and billing country?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to choose different countries between your shipping and billing address. Therefore, our default option is "Billing address same as shipping address" In this situation, we suggest inputting only the shipping details for the order so that we will be able to send your package

Returns

What is your return policy?

You may return a Displate within 100 calendar days of delivery and you will receive 100% refund. The product is eligible for return if it is in the original state and the mounting system has not been used. Displate needs to be sent at the customer’s cost to the address provided here. After receiving the package, the amount will be refunded to your account within 14 days. Please note that in case of returning only a part of the received Displates the original shipping costs won’t be refunded.

As for a Safe Wall Magnet System, you may return it as per our policy above, however, please be aware that partial returns are not possible.

Please be advised that Displate Membership Club fees and Displates obtained with a voucher are non-refundable. Also, the customs prints are not eligible for a refund.

Can I exchange any of your products?

How to join Displate Membership Club?

To join the Membership Club, you need to choose your Displates, add them to the cart and click ‘Join Displate Club & enjoy its benefits’. Please note that our Membership Club is only available for selected countries.

How does Displate Membership Club work?

First you need to add Displates of your choice to the cart to see the value of the initial order and a monthly fee for Displate Club. To join the membership, you need to click ‘Join Displate Club & enjoy its benefits’. The monthly fee for the Displate Club may change depending on the value and the type of your initial order. You will be charged with a flat fee for the Displate Membership Club for the next 12 months. On the 12th month of buying Displate Club you will receive a voucher that will give you the possibility to choose Displates in the same configuration (size, type, quantity) as in your initial order. Simple as that!

What is the cost of Displate Club?

The price of Displate Club depends on the size, type and quantity of the selected Displates in the initial order. Please choose preferred Displates to calculate precise price of Displate Club which will be visible in your cart.

How can I pay for Displate Club?

Also, Displate Club is only available for selected countries.

Can I purchase more than one membership?

There is no possibility to purchase more than one membership once your current membership is active.

How to get a discount on my order and free shipping in Displate Membership Club?

After placing an initial order, the discounts and free shipping will be automatically applied to your next order.

You will receive your art gifts with your initial order. The quantity of art gifts depends on the number of selected Displates in the initial order. However, the maximum number of the art gifts that you may receive is eight.

How can I buy custom Displate?

Please go to ‘My profile’ and then to the section ‘My overview’ where you may create your own Displate.

What sizes are available for custom made Displates?

Custom Displates are only available in M size.

Can I choose a frame or gloss finish with my custom Displate?

No. Custom Displates are only available in matte finish without the possibility to add frames.

Can I cancel my Displate Club?

Yes. You may cancel it at any time. Just please go to your account and in the section ‘Account settings’ click ‘Cancel Membership’.

Can you refund my Displate Club fees already paid if I decide to terminate my membership?

No. Displate Membership Club fees are non-refundable.

If I redeemed my voucher can I still return my Displates to get a refund?

No. These Displates are non-refundable.

If I redeemed my voucher can I still exchange my Displates?

No. These Displates are non-exchangeable.

Can I refund my custom made Displate?

No. All custom orders are not eligible for refunds.

How long a voucher is valid?

It is valid for 3 months from the date of its issue and cannot be used after it expires.

How to become an Artist on your website?

To become a Displate Artist, you need to first create an account on our website by going here and clicking the ‘Create an account’ button. Fill in the required information, your user name, email address, first and last name and next create your password. Finally, please select the ‘Create an account’ button located below the registration form. You will be then ready to start uploading your artworks. .

Do I have to pay something to become an Artist on Displate?

No. Becoming an Artist on Displate is 100% free.

Do the artworks presented on Displate undergo any selection?

Yes. We reserve the right to reject any artwork during the validation process that is not in line with the profile of our website or doesn’t meet our technical criteria. The most common reasons for artworks rejection are: low quality files, borders or text too close to the edge.

What technical requirements have to be fulfilled by the artwork to pass verification?

- Only high print quality uploads are published.
- Minimum 300 DPI in RGB mode. JPG size up to 30MB.
- Shortest side at least 2900px.
- 1.4:1 ratio for the best product fit (ex. 4060px x 2900px).
- No logos, no watermarks, no borders.
- Text/content shall be from the edge at least 200px for the file with min. size 4060px x 2900px.
- The whole content of the design must be included in one uploaded file.
- No multiple uploads of the same image with slightly changed colour palette or tiny detail.

How to upload artworks on the website?

Please go to the top right corner of the page to find section ‘Upload your artwork’ to upload a single artwork or several ones at once.

Can I upload a square image?

Unfortunately, we are not able to print outside of our ratio 1.4:1 as your image wouldn’t fit the product.

Why isn’t my Displate available in XL?

The possibility to print in XL depends on the quality of the file.
Additionally, we can only print artworks in size XL if they are vertical/portrait. The largest size possible for any horizontal/landscape artworks is L.

Why do I receive the error message: ‘artwork is too short’ or ‘increase size, long side must be at least’ while uploading an artwork?

The reason for this issue is due to the ratio of pixels. Our ratio 1.4:1 means that the short side of a file needs to be multiplied by 1,4 to get correct proportions. For example, if the short side is 1000px, then the long one should be 1400px. Therefore, please adjust the size of your file to meet our technical requirements. Also, please be sure that the short side of your file is at least 2900 px.If this doesn't fix this issue, please contact us here and send the file as well as a screenshot of the error message you receive so that we can help.

Why can’t I upload my artwork, even though I filled in the description?

The most likely reason why you are not able to upload your image is that the information on the right hand side of the screen is not fully updated. Please update each field so that the bar under your image shows 100%. Note that the most commonly missed field is the collection.If this doesn't fix this issue, please contact us here and send the file as well as a screenshot of the error message you receive so that we can help.

Why are my artworks still awaiting approval?

Please note that validation occurs Mon-Fri. Therefore, in the case that you upload on Friday, your design may not be validated until the following Monday. If this doesn't fix this issue, please contact us here and send us a screenshot of the file from the section ‘Approval Status’ so that we can help.

Why aren’t my collections visible on my profile?

Collections which contain less than 4 Displates are visible only for logged users. However, if your collection has more than 4 Displates, please contact us here so that we can help.

Why can’t I find my published artworks when searching?

It may take up to 24 hours for artworks to become searchable on our website after they have been validated. If it has been more than 24 hours and you cannot find your artworks when searching the included tags, please contact us here so that we can help.

How do I delete an artwork?

How can I change the details of my collection?

In order to change the name or price of your collection, please hover over the collection and click ‘Edit’ button.

I made a mistake. The image is not approved yet, can you delete it so that I can upload the correct file?

Unfortunately, it isn't possible to delete an artwork while it is in our validation process. Therefore, you will need to wait for validation to be finalized. In the case that your artwork is approved, you will be able to delete it by going to your profile and clicking 'Show' and 'Displates' buttons. Then, hover over the desired image and click 'Edit' and 'Remove' buttons.

Can Artists set the price of their works by themselves?

Yes, however, there is a certain price range in which an Artist can set the price of his artworks. You can do that by hovering the cursor over your art in any of your collection and clicking on ‘Edit’ button.

Is there a way to see the number of views on my artworks/profile?

Unfortunately, this option is not available. However, will consider adding this function in the future.

What does the promote button do?

By clicking the ‘Promote’ button, your artworks are featured in the top right corner of your profile. This makes them more visible for any visitors to your page, as below:
You can feature three artworks in total at the same time. Whenever you want to promote another artwork of yours, the chosen designs will be changed in rotary.

What is the size of a profile and background photo?

The maximum size of the profile picture is 214 x 214px and as for the background photo it is 2558 x 500px.

How can I see my sales and earnings?

Please go to the top right corner of the page to find section ‘Earnings’. Information related to sales and earnings is displayed in the sections ‘My Commission’ and ’Sales Statistics’.

When is the commission published on my account?

It is published after the period of 24 hours of selling the product. It will then be available to request the payment after the period of 10 days of selling the product.

As for the wholesale B2B commission, it is published and available to request the payment on the 6th day of each month or the next working day, for the sale from the previous month.

Is there a minimum pay-out threshold?

Yes. Payment will be made only once a minimum of USD 50 (fifty) is accumulated on your account.

How do I request pay-out?

Please go to the top right corner of the page to find section ‘Earnings’. Next choose ‘Basic sale data’ to request your pay-out by clicking ‘Request payment’ button and providing your PayPal e-mail address and Displate password.

When do I get paid?

Payments are made within 45 days from the date of requesting the pay-out.

Why did a sale disappear from my dashboard?

As per our policy, in the case a customer cancels his order, then commission is also cancelled.

What is the meaning of Wholesale B2B cooperation?

Wholesale B2B is related to cases when we sell our artworks to resellers in high quantities. When you accept our Terms of Use you are giving us the consent to sell artworks at such quantities in B2B. This program is in place to help reach more customers and increase our artists’ sales.

When will the winners of the contest be announced?

After the contest closes, all submissions will be reviewed and winners will be chosen by Displate Chief Creative Officer and the Displate Curatorial Team. It will be announced on the contest landing page, and through our social media channels, so we kindly ask to stay tuned. Winners will also be contacted directly via email.

What is your copyrights policy?

Whenever you upload your artwork, you continue to control the rights to it at all times. We will protect your works and their copyrights. You can read more about copyrights here.

How to become a Participant of Share and Earn Program?

To become a Participant of Share and Earn Program, you need to first create account as an artist or an influencer on our website by going here and click the ‘Create an Artist Account’ or ‘Create an Influencer Account’ button. Fill in the required information, your user name, email address, first and last name and next create your password. Finally, please select the ‘Create an account’ button located below the registration form.

Next pick an artist’s profile, designs or collections you like and then click ‘share&earn’ button to create your Participant of Share and Earn Program link. Finally share it around the world!


You may earn up to 25% commission of every sold Displate that was made through your Participant of Share and Earn Program link within 30 days. Just please check here if PayPal is available in your country as all commission pay-outs are made via PayPal only.

Why is it "up to 25% commission earned on sharing links" and not 25% fixed?

Our special offers boost your sales. You get a lower % commission on an individual order, but you sell more artworks.

Your commission is up to 25% as it depends on the discount value. It works like this:

Please note that:
- Participant of Share and Earn Program commission values are after taxes and fees (23%).

How do you know the commission is mine?

We use special cookies for that. They help us determine the source of traffic and purchase on our site. Thanks to this trick we know who is responsible for the sales.

What happens if someone clicks on the link that I’m sharing, does not purchase it during the first session but comes back later and makes a purchase?

Cookies will help us with this. Once they are created, they are live for 30 days. Which means a user doesn’t have to make a purchase right away for you to earn your commission. The purchase can be made anytime during that 30 days period for us to assign the commission to your account.

What if I am an artist on Displate.com?

Now you can become a Participant of Share and Earn Program as well! Promote your artworks and earn both Participant of Share and Earn Program and Artist’s commission.

Do I have to pay to join the program?

No, there is no additional fee to start working and earning with us.
